            Company revenues have ranged from $710,073 in FYE 12/31/06 to $559,652 in the most recent full year ended 12/31/11, reflecting the nationwide downturn that started in 2008.

In the past five years, the pro forma cash flow has ranged from a low of $73,180 in 2011 to a high of $232,577 in 2007, both excellent considering the newspaper’s revenues and economic conditions. (Those represent 13% to over 30% of revenues in those years, respectively, and include provision for manager’s salary.)

Because of the community’s somewhat isolated nature, the company is largely immune from competition from any other media. This property should be of high interest to newspaper publishers with holdings in the region which can benefit from cross-selling opportunities that will exist between these publications and the buyer’s, and for the value of the profit that consolidating administrative duties and bringing the printing in-house will provide.

However, it also is an attractive purchase for an individual/couple or small group that wants to be able to acquire a paper that is stable and well-respected by its customers.
